Roasted Peaches
This recipe is definitely a family favorite! Every summer we roast fresh peaches several times. Toppings can easily be adjusted. instead of honey, try maple syrup. Or substitute olive oil for the butter. Try some almonds or pecans to add some crunch. This is so easy yet quite impressive!
Roasted Peaches
Ingredients
- 4 peaches, cut in half
- 4-6 tbsp honey
- dash cinnamon
- whipped topping
- 4 tsp butter
Instructions
- Wash the peaches, cut in half and remove the pit.
- Add small pieces of the butter in center of each half peach.
- Spoon honey into center of each peach and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Place in oven and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes, until lightly browned and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve while warm and add whipped topping. Absolutely delicious!
